Comment:

 The label for that field is "username" for all protocols. This was done to
 have it be consistent. Protocols for which that is not as descriptive of a
 label as some would like are intended to have explanatory text displayed
 in the input field with more descriptive text (IRC doesn't have that but
 could be made to do so).

 That being said the Russian translator is, of course, free to translate
 this as anything they would like (though I don't know if they can do this
 just for IRC without affecting everything else) though I wouldn't
 recommend doing it.
