 The only real difference I've seen with respect to GtkComboBoxEntry is the
 behavior against pressing arrow_up or arrow_down. With pidgin's
 implementation, it opens the menu (rather: the list), whereas with the
 native implementation, it moves one item down/up in the (unopened) list,
 changing the text entry accordingly.
