 Same thing happens to me. More details:

 * D-LINK DIR-601 wireless router connected to a cable modem
 * Happens both when using the Wireless network and an ethernet port on the
 router
 * Doesn't happen when connecting directly through the cable modem
 * The connected period varies widely, from one minute to several hours,
 but is usually around 5 minutes

 One idea that comes to mind is that the automatic port forwarding
 configuration fails. I tried to enable DMZ for my IP, and so far it seems
 to work, but it's still too early to call it a success.
