 I have just tried it with another made up URL ~122 characters long, it
 also freezes it. It happens the second I paste it, Pidgin just has the
 chance to render it before it freezes. Also to note, it spikes to
 consuming 25% of my Phenom II x4 3.3 Ghz CPU. I cannot test what happens
 when I hover over it, as I said it immediately freezes when I paste it
 with Ctrl+V.
