 As of the Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtale release in a few weeks, the icon
 notification area will be completely dropped in favor of the libindicator.
 Hiding and showing the buddy list is done through this tray icon, so
 having it be completely removed in a few weeks will prevent users from
 reshowing their buddy list.
