 Running 2.10.11 on Gentoo Linux and the bug is still present. What
 happened to the fix? Wasn't it implemented or doesn't it work? My use case
 is different: I'm trying to use an XMPP Transport (for the record:
 spectrum2) and it returns my roster without "from" entry which is legal as
 described above. Pidgin receives the whole roster according to the debug
 window but refuses to display it / let me login.
