 I've attached `redirect_test.exe`, can you please run this from a cmd
 window on Vista as follows:

 Run once without redirection: `redirect_test.exe`[[BR]]
 Run once with redirection: `redirect_test.exe > 1.txt`

 Then, can you post the contents of the "log.out" file that will be
 generated in the directory you're running in.

 I have a hunch that the behavior will be like the
 [http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/zs6wbdhx(VS.80).aspx newer C
 runtimes] and return -2 instead of -1, but it'll be good to verify.
