 pidgin has never crashed on me, and i dont use windows. i use the linux
 (gnome) version. so i dont think there is much relation to 3369

 and if it helps anyone, the plugins i use are:
 buddy notes 2.2.1
 buddy state notification 2.2.1
 message notification 2.2.1
