 When will be a workaround to resolve this memory-related problem?

 I also wonder if is possible to leave the spell checker installed but
 turned off by default? Currently if a single language is installed (in my
 case English Aspell-en 0.50-2) even with Switch spell plugin is possible
 only to switch between different versions of English but not to disable.
