 On the other hand, there is a bit of nonsesne in the way this works.

 Assume Yahoo, with it's preset away statuses.

 If I choose "busy", the status changes instantly to "busy".
 If I choose "Not at desk", the UI shows the away status with the text
 editor box below it, for me to enter a message. it's nonsense here, since
 this should directly jumpt to "away - not at desk".
