 pidgin itself should never under any circumstances attempt to request
 authorization for a buddy without you telling it to do so, similary it
 should never (and for the most part is likely not even able) to move a
 buddy across accounts. So if what you are seeing is in fact buddies from
 one account being added to other entirely unrelated accounts then I begin
 to suspect plugins again (gevolution plugin high on that list, though if
 you say it is not loaded then we need to keep looking).

 If you can get the debug window output from when this happens that may
 enable us to see what is going on.
