 I am also getting this same "Not Authorized" error when upgrading to v
 2.4.0 with my Google Talk account.  I upgraded and my same settings do not
 work.[[BR]]
 Domain: googlemail.com (also tried gmail.com)[[BR]]
 Resource: Home[[BR]]
 Advanced: Nothing checked (tried a few different combinations that gave
 other SSL errors)[[BR]]
 Port: 5222 [[BR]]
 Connect server: talk.google.com[[BR]]
 File transfer proxies: proxy.jabber.org:7777 (tried blank too)[[BR]]
 Tried to follow Google's instructions
 [http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=24073] but
 they do not include the Advanced settings tab.[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 I also tried forcing SSL & port 443, but got a read error.[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 To complicate things I am going through a web proxy at work, but the same
 settings work on 2.3.1 I don't believe this is the issue.[[BR]]
