Comment:

 As per my comments on ticket #5086 I don't think differing connect servers
 is really something we should allow, and as datallah says using the same
 domain name internally and externally just seems to be asking for trouble
 to me. If the resource changes I mention in the other ticket are made that
 would have the side effect of allowing this to work (I think) but may or
 may not prevent the sort of problems datallah was talking about (which is
 a concern I have with the resource change, but is too useful and valid to
 prevent). I'm closing this as a duplicate because the other ticket covers
 this well enough.
