 I'm really not very computer savvy, sorry.
 I found out yesterday that when I went to sounds, they are either coming
 from something I haven't found or Firefox, but Firefox has never before
 made any noises on its own, let alone use Pidgin ones.

 OS? I have a Vista, if that's what you mean. >>

 I haven't found a pidgin process. I did look, but there wasn't anything
 with "Pidgin" in it. What else would it say?
