Comment:

 If the issue was a corrupted aspell dictionary then there isn't an issue
 here for us to fix. If the issue was the version of aspell installed by
 PHP being in the PATH then there isn't an issue here for us to fix and we
 believe that sort of PATH pollution is incorrect. If the issue is
 something else then if you can't reproduce it at this point then there
 isn't anything we can do to figure it out or fix it, if you can reproduce
 it then we should look into it.

 If you install the debug version of pidgin it will generate a crash .RPT
 file when it crashes, in the installation directory (or wherever the
 FAQ/crash report howto says it should be).
