Comment:

 Argh, I made a basic mistake. I even didn't know that the theme have such
 impact on GTK. After changing to default XFCE theme, problem with 100% CPU
 disappeared (new message icon is now drawing on main menu - not on buddy
 list). Too bad, I liked this theme but now I see it was created for GTK2
 but new XFCE probably using GTK3 (I am newbie in XFCE, but default theme
 include gtk2 and gtk3 folder). It seems that this solved all rest
 problems, I can't confirm that because rest problems occured randomly. I
 think you could close this ticket. If some of rest problems occur, I post
 it in another topic. Thanks.
 By the way, I checked option "always show icon in tray", I used it on
 GNOME and it worked fine but on XFCE I see only one icon (pidgin logo) but
 no state icon or new message icon. Is XFCE panel more like static? Anyway,
 skype can change icons in tray.
