 Sorry I forgot to clarify this, but I'm using dual monitors.  And whenever
 it comes out of sleep mode, whichever side my buddy list is on, the outer
 1/3 of the screen isn't unusable by windows in full screen mode.  If it is
 on my main monitor my desktop icons are shifted over and cannot be placed
 in that area.

 Pidgin buddy list window is not docked to the side of my screen.

 It doesn't matter where my buddy list is on my screen, it does it (at
 random) to the screen by buddy list is located.

 My buddy list window (when the screen is messed up) is usually on my
 monitor that is messed up.  I can move it to the other monitor and it is
 fine, but the other monitor is still messed up.

 The way I fix the issue is to exit pidgin and then launch it again.
